Non-negotiable Requirements:

* Must be over 24 years old

Little Miss Janis was pulled from a colony when a caretaker noted her poor condition back in October. She would come regularly for feeding yet had significant visual weight loss. Once we had her in our care, we noted severe flea anemia (so so many fleas), labored breathing, rotten teeth and a heart murmur. 

Since shes been with us, shes been treated for an upper respiratory infection, up to date on flea prevention, and had a dental to remove her remaining teeth. Unfortunately while her physical health has been treated, we worry about her mental health. 

Janis has lived in this "condo", with the doors open giving her access to explore the office and stretch, for months now and has only left it a handful of times. Shes a shy girl and some of our other cats intimidate her. She spends most of her time curled up in a comfy bed or waiting for her wet food to be delivered to her. She does love to get daily pets and scratches.  She has superb litter box habits. And she loves her wet food!

We believe Janis would blossom and have a more meaningful life if she had a quiet home to rest in and spend her golden days. Shed even be content with a warm, soft bedroom with a window to look out. Were searching for someone to foster and/or adopt her so she can have more space to herself.
