Trixie is an approximately 1 year old DSH brown tabby female. She is located in Guelph. Trixie has been with us for almost 4 months now, and has settled in nicely! She is a sweet, quiet, gentle girl who would do well in a home that is quiet and calm. We have two young children, and usually we don’t see Trixie until after our kids are at school or in bed. Once the house is calm, she comes out to have snuggles and loves to sit on our laps while we watch TV! ?Trixie gets along well with some of the cats in our home, and not others. In our experience, she likes calmer cats that respect her space! She has grown very attached to our resident cat, who is female, tiny like Trixie, and calmer. They will play together and bat around toys! Trixie is not fond of the cats in our home who prefer to wrestle – she is a prim and proper young lady and does NOT enjoy rough-housing. When Trixie arrived in our care, she had very sore and inflamed gums. We tried several types of medical interventions but our veterinary team decided that she needed to have all of her teeth removed. She underwent this surgery a couple of weeks ago and is doing great! She is on a prescription kibble called Hills Z/D which she will need to stay on likely forever and she eats this food really well and loves it. Trixie will not need any further medical intervention for her mouth and should do really great in her new home as long as they keep her on the prescription food. \xa0If you are looking for a sweet, quiet, silky-soft lady love of a cat, look no further. This gorgeous girl is who you have been waiting for! Trixie is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and is fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in Trixie, please fill out the adoption application .
