Coffee Im more of an herbal tea kind of gal, but coffee is fine too. I am a 3-years-old stray kitty and a single mom to boot. I arrived at HSHC with my kittens and was in a foster home until they were weaned. Now that Im footloose and fancy-free, I feel a bit stressed being in the cattery. The medical staff did an examination that revealed I have a sore spot on my face and that I am FIV+. These conditions all come from being a homeless animal out in the world. FIV is a virus only contagious to cats that can lower a cats immune system. Humans or other animals cannot contract it, nor is it communicable through food dishes, water bowls, or casual contact. I can live happily with FIV- cats. Although I have loved being petted and fed here at the shelter, I still feel shy. I would appreciate a patient owner who will give me plenty of time to settle into my new home. It may take me a while to feel safe and secure, but I cant wait to be someones pet kitty in a loving home. 9-30-22
