Our rescues mean a lot to the vet staff and DunRoamin volunteers. We do everything we can to find the perfect homes for these pets, who are being given a second chance at a happy life. The application process requires pre-adoption applications, references, and interviews with you and those listed on your application in order to ensure a successful placement. If interested, please COMPLETE AN APPLICATION at https://form.jotform.com/60793520585259 "Furgie" came to us on July 14, 2020, from Fredericton where she had been adopted earlier, but had been peeing and pooping inappropriately, so came back to us. Since her return, she has displayed no such behaviour, but has been diagnosed as being diabetic. Furgie is now on 6 units of insulin twice daily, is eating a prescription diabetic diet and is doing very well indeed. She is playful, happy, affectionate and loves the other cats with whom she resides. Furgie has become one of our greeters at DunRoamin and takes her job very seriously, although she has so much less to do due to COVID-10 restrictions, but were all hoping this will pass soon. Furgie was born about January 31, 2012 and hopes for a retirement home where she can sleep happily on someones lap - its the first place she goes if we sit down even for a second! If youre looking for an attentive, affectionate little cat, shes your girl, and shell pay back your kindness in spades!! She is a beautiful little girl who loves all people and doesnt mind the medication at all, as long as someone is paying attention to her! Furgie is a beautiful calico who will give everything to her new family, and she definitely has a lot to give.
