You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zola is a domestic feline with the heart of a tiger. She is fearless, curious, demanding with her needs, and confident in herself and her ability to bend her surroundings to adapt to those needs. Thrown into a foster home with two strange cats, a pack of five dogs, and two feral kidswas she scared? I think not. We all work for her now. :) She is a busy girl. Where nearly all cats hide and take time to adjust in a strange house, she was immediately coaxed out of hiding by her desire to sniff and explore every inch of the house. Even when she came nose to nose with a 130-pound fluffy dog, she was absolutely unflappable. She enjoys chasing toys and insists on cuddles. She is just SO much personality in one small package. Zolas adoption fee is $50. If you adopt more than one cat, we offer a discounted fee of $25 for the second cat (or more!).Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldnt, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; were happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if youre looking for a specific adult weight, we dont recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animals behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it.
