Description:
Say hello to Valerie!
This beautiful tabby gal came to APA as a stray. Shes a laid-back lady who enjoys pets and treats from the volunteers. Living at the shelter can be stressful for some of the kitties, and while she has adjusted to being there, she does tend to keep to herself and mind her own business.

Valerie is a little extra-special in that shes positive for FIV. It does not however cause her any issues and she can live happily and healthily with other kitties so long as they all get along.
If you are interested in adopting Valerie, you can complete our application on our website at: www.apa-pets.org. Please be sure to complete all required fields, so it will successfully submit. If your application is approved, we will schedule a meet/greet visit with you.

**Half of my adoption fee is sponsored thanks to FRAME IT! Custom Picture Framing of Sellersburg**

All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV & Leukemia, and should be current on vaccinations at the time of adoption.

We encourage you to read more about FIV

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
