Buggy is the smallest kitten of her litter, with a big streak of adventure! She responds quickly when her name is called and will instantly start purring when she reaches you. She loves to play with toys and snuggle with her brother Timber and the rest of the time she wants to be involved in what you are doing around the house. In the morning, if you blink at her slowly she will chirp and get up from where she was to greet you. Curious is one way to explain Bug; while shy she quickly will settle into her home and want to look around anywhere within her reach. She gets spooked when approached loudly and quickly by strangers but warms up without a problem to someone calling her name/letting her approach. Overall, she does fine with other cats, loud noises, moving water/fountain water bowls, being held, using the litter box, and isnt picky with food.

Timber bonded with Buggy even more after their siblings were adopted out. Together, they are the perfect yin yang of personality. Timber is quiet and curious; anytime you pick him up he goes completely limp and is content to sit in your arms for a snuggle. Hes gotten snugglier the older he gets and has begun sneaking under covers and making biscuits to gently wake us up for love. He tries very hard to be friends with his foster siblings and has a very friendly disposition. Buggy really came out of her shell and is now a rambunctious little lady who is vocal for food, when she wants down or attention, and loves to put her paws on you to be picked up and loved on. When she wants to express her displeasement or tell her brother to leave her alone, she lets out a low whiny meow that sounds akin to a fog horn. Buggy has been more social than her brother with strangers but both of them usually snuggle under the couch when guests first arrive. However, while Buggy begs for the attention of her oldest foster sibling, she is very reactive and unhappy with her new baby siblings. These two are almost always side by side snuggling when it is time to rest during the day and can be found scrunched into the tiniest of spots. Buggy and Timber are the perfect duo of spicy and sweet while both being friendly, easily handled kitties.

At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes up to 7 days. Keep in mind, the kitten/cat youre interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold. Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Due to COVID-19, we are highly encouraging foster homes and adopters to speak with one another via phone or video chat to limit in-person contact. If meeting in person at a foster home or at our adoption center, everyone is encouraged to wear masks and socially distance. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100 % foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.

**Dog/Puppy applications -
Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home. If you have questions about the Dog/Puppy process please email Dogs@laramieanimals.org**
