This pet has medical needs that require veterinary follow-up beyond that of the average Memphis Animal Services pet. Interested adopters are asked to provide a completed veterinary consult form demonstrating they have discussed the condition with a private veterinarian and agree to provide the recommended treatment (evaluation form and medical records are available by contacting mas@memphistn.gov). 

This pet will need additional care for: MODERATE FAS; POSSIBLE UNDERLYING MEDICAL ISSUE SUCH AS KIDNEY DISEASE, DIABETES, HYPERTHYROIDISM, OR STOMATITIS

A volunteer spent time with me and said, "Beautiful Calla came straight to the front of her cage when opened. She purred the entire time I was petting her. She loved having her head scratched and her fur groomed. Calla is a sweetheart!"
