Sweetness is a 17-year-old "grand dame" looking for her new palace. She lets you know when to pet her, then lets you know it is time to stop. Shes not a cuddler, but wants to be in proximity to where you are, so dont expect her to sit on your lap or even next to you on the sofa. The good news is that she stays off the furniture, preferring her own bed or a comfy spot on the floor. As a senior, Sweetness is more into napping than anything. Shes a quiet companion who will follow you at times, but generally is content with companionable quiet. She sometimes pays no attention to visitors and sometimes goes to a different room when strangers arrive. She can get irritated and will put you in your place like a grand lady should. Shes a champion napper! We occasionally go for a walk with Sweetness safely in a stroller. Once in a while she gets talkative, but usually shes telling you she needs some sort of attention, likely a good petting. She sometimes plays a little, but shell let you know when she needs that kind of diversion, and it seldom lasts for long. At 17, shes more chill. Shes an indoor cat since she is declawed and likely needs to be the only pet in the house. Sweetness needs a quiet home without other pets and definitely no young children. Shell get snippy if shes aggravated. She doesnt like the vet and needs sedation on a visit for health care. There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animals history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat?
