Meet our fancy pants Francie! Francie is one special kitty and she certainly knows it! This little girl is a lovebug and just loves to be petted and cuddled. Francie loves jingle ball toys and has recently fallen in love with the big windows in her foster home! She has let us know that she is really hoping her furever home has a bay window that she can lounge in as that is one of her favorite pastimes. Can you tell by her pics? \xa0 Francie has an extremely mild case of Wobbly Kitten Syndrome also called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). CH is caused when the part of the brain that causes motor skills was not fully developed before birth. There are several potential causes for this condition however after hearing her history, we believe that her CH was caused by malnutrition while her momma was pregnant. The family that was caring for her momma (who was a neighborhood cat) did the best they could to feed her but often times she was given people food instead of nutritious cat food that a pregnant momma needs. Despite this condition, Francie even had a litter of kittens and was such a good momma! This condition does not require any extra vet care besides annual checkups and does not affect her quality of life or life expectancy. She is just like every other cat in that respect. This condition causes her to wobble a bit when she walks but that doesn’t hold her back from anything. Francie gets along with other cats but has not met any canines yet. Francie is about 2 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. Updated 4/12/2022
