Description:
Hospice or not-spice? Im betting not. Snowy is one tough cat.

The magnificent Ms. Snow is a cancer survivor. She was found as a stray in Bakersfield, CA. White cats have no business out in the sun and Bakersfield has no shortage of sun. Snowys ears were fried and there were a few other spots of cancer on her as well. Our wonderful vet got rid of almost all of the cancer. Just a couple of dots on her nose right now and those are being treated with a cream, which she hates.

She also recently wound up on a feeding tube for a few weeks after getting an abscess INSIDE her throat. Never had that happen before.

At one of her many rechecks at the vet, a tiny tumor was found inside the eye socket. The only symptom was a squinty eye. Our vet managed to remove the tumor without damaging the eye so, for now, Snowy does have two eyes.

But dont feel sorry for this girl. She is strong. And she loves life off the streets. I dont think anyone ever really took care of her before. She loves getting her own little plate of wet food at meal times, is crazy for catnip, loves toys. As far as she concerned, life is good.

Please note, however, that she is a lousy patient and did bite a vet tech once. Shed bite a few more if given the chance. But if she likes you, theres a lot of sweet mixed in with that spice. Shes a good girl and admirable.

Are you still reading? Amazing! If you are want to talk about this little survivor, please email with a little info about yourself and your home environment. Details will set you apart from the competition! Also, please include your phone number. Also, bonus points if you are within driving distance of Snowys current vet in San Jose, CA or you have an amazing vet who may be either witch or wizard. Youll need a little magic with this one.

Adoption fee is $125.
