Description:
Bernice is a adult grey and white with a "sweet and sassy" disposition. She is a very smart cat with a very quirky personality. Bernice is a bit of a diva and likes to have everything her way so you want to be "owned" by your cat, Bernice may be the one for you. She has a deep dislike of other pets (she likes to be the center of attention of course) so she must be inside only in a home where there are no other cats or dogs. Bernice would do best with an experienced cat owner who understands cat-a-tudes and when Bernice wants some "alone time". Small children are not her cup of tea and prefers quiet predictable, evenings with no drama. If you want to share your life with Bernice, please let us know!

All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).

A few of our cats are available to meet in our Adoption Center at PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the ADOPT tab to see their pictures.

The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. To get one you can:
1. Complete one on-line at https://www.adoptapet.com/pawsok/adoption-request/
2. Request one via e-mail at: pawsokrescue@gmail.com, or
3. Pick one up at PetSmart.

Adoption Requests take 2-4 days to process and initial contact with the potential adopter should the board have additional questions will likely be via e-mail. PAWS-OK fosters may also reach out to you via phone for an interview. The whole family needs to be present at the interview / adoption because some cats dont like everyone and we want to ensure that the whole family (cat included) is happy with the adoption.

Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!
