Scarlett was found outside with her 4 babies and brought into animal control. We brought her into our rescue and quickly realized that she wobbled when she walked. We got her into our vet for x-rays to make sure nothing was broken. Luckily, she was not injured in any way. Our vet believes she has some past trauma, like being hit by a car, didnt heal properly, and now simply walks this way. She is not in any pain and doesnt need any further care. She is FIV/FeLV negative. 

She has gotten used to the way she walks and can still do most things like climbing on to a low bed. We are testing her on stairs, but it looks like she can handle a few steps. We would like to find her a home where she can have food and her litter box on the same floor, just incase she doesnt want to use the stairs. She is able to use the litter box without any issues. 

Scarlett is around 2 years old and super sweet. She is good with kids, but may be better suited for slightly older kids- for the sole reason that younger ones may knock her over. She has been around kids as young as 2 and was fine with them. She is okay with other cats as long as they are introduced properly. She does not like dogs. 

Scarlett is overall calm and loves to lounge and be petted. She loves catnip and treats. She would make a great addition to any home!
