Gypsum is a beautiful tortie cat. She gave birth in someones barn and she and kittens were cared for for a few weeks before coming to us. She was a great mom and very protective of her kittens. She always let them eat first, and came running at any sign of distress. While in her foster home she would hang out underneath some furniture when people were near. However, she could be coaxed out for some treats and then she loved being pet, especially belly rubs, and being brushed. Since shes been with us shes discovered that getting attention is actually awesome! If were petting her and we pull our hand away, shell reach out to pull our hand back. What could we be doing thats more important than this tummy rub?! Gypsum will do best in a quiet home with a person who knows how to relate to shy cats. If given the chance this sweet girl is sure to be someones good friend!
