Meet gorgeous Orange Tabby Marigold. A perfect name for this deep orange girl. She came to TMHPR when she was rescued in rural Oklahoma by her foster moms parents after she wandered up to their house, cold, tired, skinny and hungry. We know Marigold had a rough experience before being rescued and believe she was probably traumatized from being out in the rough weather. She has rallied big time from her bad experience and is so appreciative of having a warm bed, a full food bowl and someone to pet her and show her love. She is currently living in a foster home, her foster mom reports that it is actually hard to get a good picture of Marigold since she is so loving it is next to impossible to snap a picture because she wont stop rubbing up against her fosters legs...this girl is that sweet and happy to be with loving humans. Marigold is a gorgeous girl!Shes approximately one year old and affectionate beyond words. In fact, its hard to get a good photo of her because she is inseparable from her foster mom. Marigold really enjoys playing with her toys. Her favorites are little pom pom balls that she can bat around everywhere and chasing plastic springs, balls with bells in them, and bouncy sticks. She is accomplished at using her scratch mat. She loves to climb! She will sit up high and look out a window and she has a favorite self-heating mat in a cozy, high spot where she likes to snooze. She also enjoys pushing her beds around - its great exercise for her and we call it her "remodeling". Marigold eats dry food and wet food and is very passionate about always having some in her bowl. She periodically goes over to check on her food supply; its very important to her. She also likes treats! She is good about drinking her water, too. She brings out the best in the humans she interacts with...her calm and gentle spirit is very relaxing and she loves to just hang out. Her estimated birth date is December 6, 2020.
