Description:
Chloe is one of our best success stories! Originally rescued from a farm, Chloe was always a little shy and had some feral tendencies about her. She started out in a foster home and did fine, but soon reverted to more feral behavior and became difficult to handle. She would hiss and even swat at us at times when we tried to handle her. For over a year, it seemed her personality would not change and we were discouraged.

When we noticed she might not be being feeling well, she had some minor health issues that needed daily treatment and meds. She was no picnic to take care of! But the more we handled her, the more she came to trust us. It took several months of petting her and allowing her to trust us in her own time, but Chloe has turned into a sweet, gentle girl, who purrs, kneads and begs for affection!

Chloe underwent some dental surgery and extractions and seems like a much happier girl. Chloe is like a different cat now and we are finally showing her for adoption! She will do best in a quiet home without children or dogs. She seems to really like the company of other cats and is often found snuggled in a bed with another friend. She might be nervous when moved to a new environment, but if someone is patient with her, her true spirit will prevail. Chloe is your classic torti with beautiful shades of gold, black and red and that signature torti stripe down her nose. She has bright, beautiful green eyes. Her estimated birth date is 6/1/14. We are hoping we can find her the perfect home where she can continue to grow and blossom. She really is a gem!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
