Katie is a beautiful young adult female. She loves attention and being near her foster. She actually follows her room by room. She naps in bed with her. She loves to purr and to talk. She is playful and interactive with wand toys. She uses her scratch boxes and enjoys the cat tree. She explores new spaces and walks with her tail straight up rather confident in who she is and trusting of the foster. She sits by the foster most times, and has placed herself in the foster’s lap. She loves to be petted and actually leans into it so you know she finds it totally acceptable. As the foster works on the computer, she does “cute kitty” moves to grab the foster’s attention. Her antics usually work as the foster gives in because who could ignore the look of love she gives. She truly enjoys being with humans and taking center stage in their lives. She uses her litter box without fail. She is treat motivated.

Looking to help Pink Paws Rescue and Adoption??

Consider volunteering. We have a need for volunteers on the weekdays (must be over the age of 18) and on weekends in the cat room in PetSmart in Simi Valley. We keep some of our cats there during the week and they need someone to provide them fresh food and water, to play with them and to clean their litter boxes and cages.

We also need fosters who have time, patience, a room and plenty of love to give to hep us socialize and prepare our cats for adoption. Of course, if you dont have time and you wish to donate, we accept monetary donations as well as supplies.

If you are interested in volunteering or donating, please send a note of interest to pinkpawsinquiry@yahoo.com.
