***AT EHS*** Phoebe will be there for you! (‘Cause you’ll be there for her too!) Phoebe and her wide “dinner plate” eyes joined the EHS family after being rescued off the streets of Quebec, along with her friends Rachel, Monica, and Joey. Equal parts shy and gentle, this gorgeous tortie girl now needs a new, patient BFF and a warm home to call her own. In her current cautious state, Phoebe isn’t one to tear around in reckless fashion. In fact, she might be one of the stillest cats in EHS history. As observed by one shelter volunteer, Phoebe is “so perfectly still she puts potted plants to shame.” This largely quiet and inactive loaf would certainly suit a human companion uninterested in inviting fresh ruckus into their life. Near inert existence aside, Phoebe remains an affectionate sort. Even while glued to her cubby, she seems to enjoy ear scritches, head pets, and back rubs. Despite her timid appearance, she’s clearly a sweet and gentle girl. Even at her wariest, Phoebe still isn’t one to hiss or act defensive, opting instead to offer her signature unblinking stare. She’s also recently taken more interest in the feather wand, which hints at an openness to play. A consistent routine in a regular environment will undoubtedly bring her further out of her timid (tortoise)shell. We think Phoebe would thrive in a patient, loving home with adopters her prefer to take it easy and slow. A home that is free of small children will suit her best. At this time, we’re not certain how she gets along with other animals. Are you interested in becoming best buddies with this strong, silent type? If so, send in your application to bring Phoebe home! -------------------- The adoption fee for a single cat at EHS is $175. Take home a feline friend for your kitty and the adoption fee for the pair is $300! For kittens under six months of age, the adoption fee is $200. Or double your cuteness quotient and adopt two wee furrballs for $350! Each of our cats is spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, snap tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Kittens are not spayed or neutered until 5 months of age, but the cost of spay/neuter will be covered as part of the adoption. -------------------- Interested in adopting Phoebe? Its easy!
