Tabitha came to foster with her siblings Darren and Sam from an animal hoarding situation. All three were very nervous in their new surroundings, ducking for cover as I entered the room, hiding the entire time I was present, and freezing in fear when approached. On the bright side, they rarely hissed, never tried to bite or scratch and cautiously allowed petting. Tabitha was the first to start to come out of her shell. After just a few days she started purring at my touch and quickly started purring when I entered the room - she lives for chin scratches! After five weeks in foster, Tabitha has become a demander of affection! As I sit at my computer she will come over, motor roaring, and jump into my lap where she will snuggle in, rolling and rubbing her face into me in pure heaven at all the attention. Tabitha is an older kitten, but still a kitten nonetheless (5 months). She is very playful, romping around with her siblings all hours of the day and night, LOVES toys, the tunnel and zooming up and down the cat tree. Tabitha will do best in a quiet home, she still spooks with loud noises, new people or unexpected movements but is being exposed to new things daily and doing fantastic! Tabitha now comes out of the kitten room to roam the main house, hanging with the dogs and adult cat like shes part of the family. She loves when we all wind-down for the evening, and will trot down the hall and jump on the couch and get all snuggled on my lap or on the back of the couch watching out the window. Tabitha is such a sweet love and it has been such a joy watching her personality blossom, she will be a very rewarding addition to your home!
