Patty~born~February 2020

Im Patty Poe, or Patty Cakes. I was born and living outside with my sister in Detroit. People fed us and had an outside shelter but the shelters disappeared when the business burned down. My sister Lucy and I would have to scavenge for food in the alley. A Dr. at the hospital saw us wandering in the alley and thought we should be inside. They caught my sister Lucy and I was outside all winter. It was rough. Eventually they found me after the new year. It was so nice being inside with my sister. We love our bed and sleep and relax all the time! We love to be pet and brushed. We are getting used to being picked up but will come up to you for food and pets most of the time. Otherwise, we will be in the bed or sleeping looking out the window! Come see how cute we are. Im so glad I get to stay inside with my sister, can you give us a space for the winter and every winter after that!

I was found to have heart worm and undergoing monthly heartworm prevention until we make sure I’m all better. I will need to be on a chewable monthly for a year or two.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
