Elphaba’s age is about four years.  She is a beautiful black cat and wonderful mama to five adorable kittens (all adopted).  She is confident and bold, protecting her kids and taking great care of them, but also loves attention and snuggles.  Unfortunately she can be aggressive when she feels threatened, hissing and growling at other pets and batting at hands sometimes when her foster family pets her.  She will show you when she’s scared with big fearful eyes and a nervous stance; however, when she is calm and not feeling threatened, she loves attention and will purr away and rub her head in your hand to get love.  She would likely settle faster and let her loving personality come out if she went to a home without any other pets.  Cats and Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption.  Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $125, Typical Kitten adoption donations are $150, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks.
