An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up.
http://yvpr.org/catadoptionapplication.html)

If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Meets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions dont always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet youd like to apply for. Adult cat and kitten adoption fee is $125 which covers vetting, vaccinations, worming, and flea treatment. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian. For more information go to http://yvpr.org/adoptions.html
Thank you for thinking adoption and Good Luck!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
