Chestnut is an adult Dutch mix rabbit who was surrendered to an area shelter and is now looking for her forever home through WHRS. She was very frightened when she arrived and would thump every time someone approached her enclosure. She has since settled in and now only occasionally thumps. She is still shy, but appreciates pets on her head. With a little time and patience shell settle into her new home without young children and her personality will blossom. Chestnut has excellent litter box habits. She is spayed and vaccinated against RHDV2. Adopters will receive a free copy of The House Rabbit Handbook: How to Live with an Urban Rabbit and a free one year membership to WHRS. Go to rabbit.org to learn all about having a house rabbit. Then contact WHRS!
