Reese was an owned dog and didnt have a good life. She was taken to the vet to be euthanized because owner clamined she was killing chickens. Thankfully, her owners agreed to surrender her to the vet. Luckily Reeses story caught the attention of a SNARR foster willing to open her home and heart to save Reese..

Reese is absolutely adorable. She has the cutest underbite (mom is an English bulldog) and is so sweet and loving. She adores humans, especially kids, she hasnt been tested with small dogs or cats but gets along with dogs her size. Shes about 15 months old, weighs 60 pounds, is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and heartworm positive, but she already started slow kill treatment. Reese is also crate trained and potty trained.

We believe Reese lived outside in her prior life because although shes happy to go to the backyard, she quickly does her business and wants to come back in the house. Shes a goofy girl and loves belly rubs. She will take a few steps and quickly lay on her back waiting to be loved on. This girl craves affection. Shes still a puppy and her personality is coming out. Shes a bit scared at first, especially of loud noises and fast movements so we recommend a home with older kids (6 years old +) who are used to being around dogs. When shes scared, she will cower and close her eyes.

Reese deserves a family who will love her forever and unconditionally. She has very soulful eyes that will melt your heart.

FAQs -- PLEASE READ ALL BEFORE EMAILING

-------------------------------------------------------

Please note that SNARR NE is a volunteer-based organization. While our volunteers will try to respond to you as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the below information about our adoption process before emailing:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the puppys/dogs physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. *NOTE* We rarely know a dogs exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. Because we often do not have access to medical records at the time that we are listing for dogs for adoption, there are sometimes discrepancies between what is posted on their profile and what might be listed on a dogs medical records.

SNARRS ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting a SNARR dog/puppy is to fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/. Once we receive your application, one of our adoption application processors will contact you, review our adoption process with you, and answer any additional questions you may have. **We do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the puppy or dog. **

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until after your adoption application has been fully processed and approved by one of our adoption processors.

APPLYING ONLINE: If you fill out an online application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device), make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible, and that you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means we did NOT receive your application.
