Mazzy is a lot of love bundled into a 29 lb body! Luckily, because of the generosity of an awesome foster parent, we were able to spring Mazzy from a the rural shelter where she found herself after being picked up as a stray. Puppies always get a lot of attention and are adopted quickly, but we want you to know what amazingness youll be missing out on by adopting a puppy instead of little Mazzy!

Mazzy does well with other dogs, and loves all people she meets.
She gets attached to her people quickly and is very loyal! We are unsure how she does with cats but we can get her "cat-tested" if you have one!

Mazzy will need a person or family committed to making sure she gets the exercise, training and attention that a young dog needs. Could YOU be her forever person or family?? Mazzy certainly hopes so!!

The adoption fee for this dog is $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts!
We are proud to partner with the following veterinarians who offer a free first exam for your animal, exclusively for HT adopters: Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Sunshine Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care and all VCA Animal Hospitals.
Additionally, any VCA hospital will cover illnesses up to $250 at no cost to any Homeward Trails adopter.
We also provide free online workshop with a professional dog trainer at Fur-Get Me Not within the first 30 days of adopting - just for HT adopters in the Arlington/Alexandria/Falls Church/DC area. Start your new dog out on the right foot with this valuable, expert guidance FREE!
You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like way stations between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please check out our information about fostering by visiting http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program
