Description:
Oh honey, got me hooked on you!

Honey is a 3 yr old sweet heart with a matching name. Honey is very intelligent and wants to please more than anything else. Shes a very affectionate girl who loves to cuddle with her favourite human. Honeys energy has her looking forward to her long daily walks or ball in the yard, or playing with dog friends. Honey LOVES TO PLAY! She loves playing with dogs similar size who also love to rough and tumble play. In her new foster home, she plays with many dogs, and enjoys playing tug of war, games of chase me, and to wrestle with her fur friends. She has no resource guarding, and crates like a pro! She enjoys relaxing on the couch after a walk, and taking sun naps with a pillow. Shes a real cuddle bug. Unfortunately we assume Honey has had some negative experiences with men in the past, as she is very wary of strangers, especially men, and will require the patience to earn her trust.

She has a high prey drive, and has quite the horse power with her 55lb frame to pull you off your feet at the sight of a squirrel or kitty! She may not be agressive with cats, but we are recommending a home without cats. Honeys ideal home would be an adult ( or older children) experienced, confident, patient, homebodies with a doggy friend who loves to play, and a big yard for zoomies. Working from home, or being home majority of the time would be best for her, as she does have some separation anxiety that is easily managed. Honey needs compassion, routine and continued training in her new home to really see her shine.

Honey is in foster care near Toronto, Ontario. We are accepting applications from Ontario and Quebec only at this time. No apartments, please. A fenced yard is required.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
