-female, about 6-7 months old -Spayed and microchipped -Heartworm negative and on prevention -Up to date on vaccines -House and Kennel trained -Very sweet and loving -Not sure about cats/ not tested -Good with other dogs -Not sure about kids/ havent met any -Fostered in Cedar Park Hi Yall! Me and my foster sister Nikki both are dogs if you consider the fur and 4 legs and perky ears and all that…you know…dog stuff, but technically qualify as mermaids due to our fishy swimming skills. Foster Mom calls me Ariel the Mermaid, but you can just call me Ariel for short. Yep you read that right! Mermaid! How did I get that title? Well the day I arrived at my Foster Mom’s house, it was about 105° outside. Hot! Seriously, why is it so hot? We needed outdoor playtime so my Foster Family took me to a very large bowl of water, the biggest I ever seen. The pool. I saw all the other dogs paddling and I didnt hesitate... I jumped right in and I learned how to swim in an instant. Thats when Foster mom said my name had to be Ariel the Mermaid! What else is there to know about me? I love to snuggle and play with the other dogs here. AND of course there is SWIMMING! Im a little bit on the alpha side, but I get along great with my foster siblings. When I first got here, I had a tendency to want to hoard toys and food. But only because I had to fight for everything the first few months of my life. Im learning now that I dont have to worry anymore. Foster Mommy isn’t an octopus but seems to be able to give plenty of love, food, toys and attention with just two people hands. I am learning lots of stuff here. I am smarter than the film version of Ariel, because I know a dinglehopper isn’t for brushing hair. It’s for eating food silly! That reminds me. I love water so much I even love crunchy water. I think you humans call crunchy water…. ice cubes. Foster Mom says Im full of energy and that a home with a pool and another less alpha dog to play with and tons of fun activities and adventures is just what I need. And then at the end of the day, Ill snuggle with you and give you lots of love. What more could you ask for? A beautiful, fun, happy, loving, snuggly, energized mermaid who actually knows what a dinglehopper is for. Link to Application: http://www.gsdrescuectx.com/adoption-application.html
