Description:
Meet Leia! She is a tan, German Shepherd-Dingo mix and is approximately 1 year old. She was an owner surrender to a shelter. She was not associated with humans much at her previous home and never had the chance to learn what love is. She is still Leia is full of energy! She loves to play and catch balls and frisbees. This girl is an athlete! She needs a lot of playtime and a big yard for room to run. She lives with two other dogs and gets along well with them. She gets overly excited at times so I watch her closely when playing with the other dogs. Its unknown if shes good with cats. Leia likes to jump, but weve been working on this. She needs to be in a home with older children. Shes not much of a cuddle, but I think over time and building trust will change that. Leia is crate trained and potty trained. Shes learning to walk on a leash in the backyard at the moment. She knows sit, wait, shake, lying down, among others. She can be stubborn when shes really excited but she is eager to please. Leia still has a lot of puppy traits as I believe she may have been removed from her litter too early or wasnt associated with humans at her previous home. Leia will be getting some professional training and Im willing to pay for more by her adopter. Leia needs lots of positive attention and playtime.
