Description:
Chanel was found in a drainage ditch on the side of a highway keeping her puppies safe from tons for traffic going over them above. She successfully raised her beautiful puppies who have all been adopted so now its her turn! Chanel is very sweet and loving and just an amazing girl. She is estimated to be 18 months to 2 years old and weighs 50 lbs. According to the DNA one of her puppies, Chanel is a German Shepherd/Husky mix, but her personality is more like a Husky. Chanel is a fun loving goofball! She is very submissive to other dogs and loves playing, wrestling and running with them. We have found she would be good in a home with or without another dog as she is also independent and loves people too. Chanel will need to be in a home with a secure fence and no cats, please. She is good with all ages of people and would be a great running partner as well as a cuddly buddy to watch tv. Chanel is 100% potty trained and has never had an accident in her foster moms home or in her kennel. She is not a fan of the kennel, but is trained to calmly hang out it one. She is not quite of an age where she can be left alone unsupervised, but that time should come soon.

Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
