Description:
We are so excited to announce that Duchess is now looking for her forever home! Duchess came into almost a year ago so absolutely no fur and a horrible skin infection that was left untreated for so long. She was miserable and had no life in her eyes! She luckily found the perfect foster family and is now gorgeous and loving life!

Duchess is a very loyal dog. She absolutely loves people and is going to be a wonderful family dog. She is learnig her manners but can be a jumper so we are suggesting no tiny children. Duchess is good with other dogs but we are suggesting that she would do better where she can be an only dog. Duchess can get jealous of other dogs so unless you are an experienced German shepherd owner she’d be best as an only dog. Duchess is not good with cats, she likes to chase them. Duchess is house trained and crate trained. She loves to go for walks and playing fetch!

Duchess will need a very dedicated owner. She is still on several medications! She is still getting weekly allergy shots, daily antibiotics and weekly medicated baths. She is on the road to recovery and her future owners will need to continue the medications.

If you are interested in adopting Duchess please fill out an application on our website www.forrescue.net. She is located in Huntsville,AL and she is only available for a local adoption.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
