Meet Coqueta!

After Coqueta was surrendered to Downey Shelter by her owner, we scooped her up to become a Frosted Face on August 23rd. She is 10 years old and weighs 69 lbs. Coqueta was all smiles on her Freedom Ride from Los Angeles to Ramona and enjoyed looking out the window and getting lots of pets. She is very friendly and sweet with people and dogs alike. Coqueta not only looks like a cuddly bear - she is one! Coqueta enjoys going on our weekly Sunday hikes and earns rave reviews for having great leash manners, good energy, and not being distracted by any of the other dogs. Shes all about the task at hand!

Coqueta recently returned from a two-week Frosted Fling, and she earned glowing reviews for being a calm, gentle, and well-behaved houseguest. Her Fling Mom shares: "We love Coqueta! Theres something very special about this girl. She has a great balanced energy- chill at home but can walk for miles. She is good with kids, doesnt exhibit any separation anxiety when home alone, and is so good with dogs that she would likely enjoy a playmate. Coqueta is always up for an adventure. If she sees an open car door, shes ready to go! Coqueta is going to be an amazing addition to her forever family."
