Description:
DJs Dallas is proof that great things come in small packages. Believe it or not, she is part German Shepherd. DJ, their mom, came to us very pregnant and within a week of joining Coastal, she gave birth to Dallas and her littermates. Dallas has been holding off for the perfect fit. She is the sweetest of sweet, the most energetic of energetic. She cam jump very high and when she wants to capture the soft spot in your heart, she can do the low crawl straight into your arms. What is she mixed with? Cattle Dog is our first guess, but there may be some Jack Russell and Beagle in there too. While she may be what many would refer to as a Heinz 57 and not a purebred German Shepherd, she is 100 percent pure love.
She needs a yard with a good fence to play in, as she can jump like shes on a pogo stick, especially when theres something she wants to get. She needs a comfy bed inside with her family, someone who can throw the ball for her, go on walks with her, help her burn her energy, and someone who can relax and watch a movie with her too. If she could be a lap dog, she would love to be just that. She is not too picky on her canine companions, but she would like to live with one that can keep up with her energy. They dont necessarily have to run circles as fast as she can. Shes happy to do her circles around them while they catch up. They do need to like her kisses, though. She loves to snuggle and nuzzle with her doggy foster brothers and sisters.
She has not been around children. So, while older children will probably be okay, young children, toddlers and babies are not for her.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
