Description:
Meet Tascha
A 4 year old female German Shepherd whos handler died suddenly requiring her to find a new home. She knows her commands but lacks confidence and can get anxious when overstimulated- chasing her tail, rolling over, whining or jumping up.
She needs a quiet home environment where she isnt over stimulated or over coddled and can learn to relax. We are looking to place her with a family that is patient and calm and that is willing to help build her confidence with low key, positive reinforcement training. She is good with people and is getting used to other dogs with the help of a trainer. Tascha has a gentle nature, loves to be cuddled and have her tummy rubbed. So in the right environment and with the right guidance she will be a wonderful companion.

She is spayed, microchipped and up to date with her core vaccinations. She has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia so will need moderate exercise, maintain a good weight, continue on supplements and be monitored by a vet regularly.

Her ideal home would be:
-an calm and relaxed family that will take her for walks and adventures
-prepared to build her confidence by continuing with her positive reinforcement training and dog socialization
-live in a quiet home with a fully fenced yard
-no other pets or children in the home or visiting often
-willing to help her adjust to her new home environment

If you think you can provide her with the home she deserves please fill in our online adoption application on our website at:

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to meet her once pre-approved for adoption.

If you have any questions about Tascha or the adoption process please contact her adoption coordinator at: suejp.ehs@gmail.com
