In shelter Dog

Crosbyton, TX, 79322
Pet name:
German Shorthaired Pointer
Tricolor (Brown, Black, & White)
Samantha is a 3 year old German Short-haired Pointer/Great Dane/Black Lab mix.

Samantha was originally adopted from Lubbock Animal Services as a puppy. At some point her family decided to rehome her. We understand that she has now been rehomed twice before coming to our rescue.

Samantha is looking for a specific home where shes the only dog, as she sometimes doesnt tolerate other animals well.

Shes big, smart, has tons of energy and loves chasing a ball more than anything in the world. Shes great with kids and would love to be in a home with older kids who would throw the ball for her to chase approx. 1,926 times per day.

Her last owner stated the following: "Shes great with my 8 and 11 year old kiddos, but shes big and rambunctious and might be a little "too much" for littler kids. She needs a big yard to play in but does well inside, occasionally, too."

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
