Description:
Meet Ellie. She is one of seven puppies that were surrendered to us from an un-planned litter. Her mom was a purebred German shepherd. According to DNA testing done on her siblings, Dad was a German Wirehaired Pointer. All the puppies seem to have some wirey or scruffy hair. Ellie will grow to be on the larger side, she was 20 lbs at 9 weeks old. She needs a family that has time to train a puppy and obedience classes are definitely a good idea for the German Shepherd breed. Ellie would do best with a fenced in yard, that is what she is use too. Ellie does jump up and loves to play with other dogs, so she does need to be with a dog that wants to play. We are recommending children over 10 years old as she may knock over smaller children. Ellie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines for her age and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.00. If you are interested in adopting Ellie, please visit our website www.LHARinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
