MEET NANDI

Sweet sweet Nandi is a 3 yr old girl ready to find her furever. Nandi came to us with her canine buddy Diesel after their original family moved away leaving them behind. Nandi and Diesel are a very sweet duo but it was apparent they hadnt had much of a “home” life. Nandi has learned the ropes quickly though, she wanted to put her bestest paw forward!

Nandi has excelled in learning her “good dogging” skills. She is good on leash and knows basic commands. Nandi is kennel trained but does just fine free roam. She’s calm and quiet except when its playtime. When first in foster care there were potty accidents but she quickly figured outside is the potty spot and is fully trained now. Nandi has learned to wait patiently at the door when its time to go out and about. She loves to take rides to the gas station for hot dogs….mmmmm yummy!

Nandi is young and healthy, likes to jump, run, and play. We feel she would do well with OR without a canine play companion as love from her people is what she craves most. Nandi does play a lot with the other dogs but she also enjoys 16 hours of sleep time. She has reached the expert couch potato level in the game called Danelife!

Nandi likes to give gentle kisses and looks of love to her people - well any people - after her initial shyness. Nandi’s previous family had several kids so, although she is not being fostered with children it is clear she loves them. Nandi is a sensitive dane - ready to please - she would be a perfect addition to a first time large dog family.

Nandi is heartworm positive but has received her treatment and will need to be retested within the year to confirm her negative heartworm status. Nandi will come to her new family spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated/vetted.
