Yve is a very gentle, laid back older girl who just wants to lay on the floor near you. She is happy to greet you when you come home, happy to hang out with you in the yard, and not at all demanding. Yve completely ignores the boring cats, even when they come sniffing around. She never tries to get things off the kitchen counter even though she could easily reach, and she never bothers the trash. Give her a soft place to lay near you, plenty of water and a bit of food, and shes a happy girl. Yve had a large suspected lipoma (based on cytology) removed from her chest. Due to the size and structure of the likely benign mass, complete excision is unlikely. Lipomas are typically slow-growing and generally do not require surgical removal unless they are of a large enough size in a location which interferes with normal activities (walking, laying, etc). Additional care with the adopters veterinarian may be needed in the event the tumor recurs and reaches a large size.
