Description:
Sasha is a young, beautiful Pyr girl looking for an active family to give her the attention and training she desires. She is house broken and does well with other dogs. Sasha would do great with an older dog sibling to learn from. She is still a pup and wants her new family to know that she will require training but will reward your patience with lots of snuggles! Sasha has spent the first few months of her life in busy environments and as a result displays some resource guarding behaviors and can take a little while to warm up to strangers, especially men. Like most of us these days, Sasha is not a fan of baths or manicures...but she is a fan of hot dogs, liver treats and belly rubs :) Sasha is looking for a fenced-in yard where she can get her puppy energy out and a patient family that has the time to dedicate to her training. Sasha is a very sweet and loving girl. With the proper training that she missed out on as a younger pup, she will be a great addition to the family!

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
