In shelter Dog

Beavercreek, OR, 97004
Pet name:
Tricolor (Brown, Black, & White)
* We are looking for a fenced yard for Poppy in her future home. She is an active girl that loves to run and play and will need to get her zoomies out.

Poppy is a beautiful and ultra sweet girl! She loves to get goofy with her toys and roll around on her back playing with them. She also enjoys belly rubs. Poppy has learned "sit" pretty well and is working hard on having good manners in her foster home.

Poppy is approximately 5 months old and 37lbs. We are guessing when we say she is a Hound/Heeler mix so a doggie DNA test would be a fun treat in her new home.

Poppy is fostered with another, bigger dog and does well. No cats for Poppy, she wants to chase them.

Poppy has excellent crate manners! She is doing well with her potty habits and has only had two accidents indoors during her first week in foster. We think she is coming along nicely with her potty training.

Poppy lives with kids as young as 10 years old and does well with them. We think she could be fine with kids 8 years and up.

Poppy was rescued out of Texas and has lived most of her life outdoors so being in foster with our rescue is new to her but shes learning the ropes and starting to love the good life. Shes learned that car rides are a fun thing!

Poppy is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped (its free to register) dewormed, and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a wellness exam at either of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City or Portland.

$250 adoption fee

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
