Description:
Georgia was the smallest of her litter but proved to be the most outgoing. Now she is a giant! She is a year old and weighs 60lbs. She is slender and tall with beautiful bold brownish-red patches on her white fur. We think she may have some Greyhound and/or Great Dane in her. Georgia is friendly and loves other dogs but thinks cats are food. She has a lot of energy and loves to play in her water bowl. She knows how to sit for treats but she does not realize how big she is and could knock younger kids down trying to play. Georgia has F.O.M.O- Fear of Missing Out- she is always trying to get in on the action and is very attention seeking. She is misunderstood as an out of control dog because she barks for attention and gets really excited to see people, but she calms down and acts fine when receiving the attention she so desperately desires. She would need a home with people are active and home a lot. She likes riding in the car as well, so she would be a great adventure buddy! Georgia also loves to tear up stuffed animals, just FYI. If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or visit at 17379 Highway 9, Mountain View, Arkansas. You can also to online at schspets.org and complete an adoption application.

UPDATE; Georgia was adopted for about 4 months and really just got too big for the family to handle. She loves to ride in a car and loves other dogs. She is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She would be good for some older kids that could run and play with her.
