I am a loving, sweet Sharpei/Hound mix of approximately 5 years of age. My life so far has been challenging and heartbreaking. I grew up in a house with owners who were not able to care for me. After my first litter, the neighbors say one of my puppies was shot. My second litter of puppies were lost to a fire that burned down my house, and I was left behind. For almost two years, I lived on the streets and survived on hand outs from neighbors. I was finally taken in by a good samaritan who moved into the neighborhood recently, but apartment life is not for me. I love being outside and need a nice, fenced in yard I can play in. Despite my history, I walk on the leash like an absolute angel and I get along with other dogs, large and small. There is nothing else I want more than a couch to call my own and a forever home with a loving family.
