Hi - I am Bobbie ... a petite hound mix (35 pounds) who is young and playful. My two favorite things to do are zooming around the yard with dog friends and curling right up next to you for a nap or good nights sleep. Dogs do not get any sweeter or happier than me! Im such a good dog, I have earned permission to be left uncrated in my foster home! I curl up in a ball and sleep with my fosters every night..... I have neurological disorder which makes learning a bit different for me than other dogs - I was exposed to Neospora and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever at some point. We guess I was a hunting dog that just never got my "job" so was turned loose and picked up by animal control. I have relaxed so much in my foster home, but I do have a very distinct head bob when I get nervous - its usually due to something new I am not used to seeing. The head bob is part of why Freedom Ride Rescue took me to a specialized vet to have me tested!! It not contagious or fixable - it just makes me quirky! I just want to be with people .... bonus if you have a pocked full of treats! I want to please, but I am a bit slow to understand rules ... a patient person is ideal for me! But it will be so rewarding as I will love you more than any dog ever! I have learned that life is an adventure! Where I used to be nervous - now I want to go, go, go: exploring and playing! Id make a FUN playmate for an energetic dog because I love to run and I am FAST! My play style can get a bit mouthy so tolerant canines would be best (for this reason, no small children)! It is not at all aggressive - I just stay so excited and HAPPY! I REALLY need a person who appreciates my snuggling up with them. Apply to meet me at freedom-ride.org
