Hello!! My name is Seven Dwarfs Mine Train aka Maggie. Im guessed to be a Hound mix, 2 years young, and sleek at 42lbs.

I am currently in an awesome training program called Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program! They are working with me on all kinds of training so I can be the best pup I can be! Want to follow my journey? Click to see my weekly updates!

Im very sweet and playful, but can snuggle up when its time to relax. Im a young, energetic, and an athletic girl. I love to play with toys! Im very smart and know commands like sit and come. I understand when I am told "no" and given boundaries. I am house and crate trained. I actually love my crate and you can find me sleeping, napping, or just chilling in there! I also love to lay in dog beds (even if its too small for me)! Im dog friendly and really enjoy running around and playing with other doggos!

Click here, here, and here to see me playing with my foster dog friend!

I would love an active family with an experienced owner that could provide me with the adventurous life I deserve! Click here and here to see me running outside!

Im ready for my forever home and looking forward to loving you for life!

Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Davidsonville, MD for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Davidsonville.
