Description:
Amazing Dog!! Talula was dumped with her two little baby girls in a rural parish under a bridge. She was such a good mom that she stayed with her babies even though she was skin and bones. A woman started feeding her and her pups so she stayed right there. She contacted me and of course we took them in immediately. Her baby girls have been adopted in New England and are doing wonderful. She has a stunning brindle coat with a stub tail! She weighs around 55 lbs and is the prettiest girl ever. She is around 2 years old and is extremely robust and healthy. We treated her for a mild case of heartworms and now she is ready to rock. She has received a 12 month Proheart shot, rabies, spay, all vaccines and microchipped. She has a wonderful personality and is very loving. If you want more info about her please let us know.

Look at this handsome boy! Winchester is estimated to be 1 1/2 years old with a stunning Catahoula Leopard coat and weighs around 55 lbs. Winchester is a very smart boy that loves the treats! Having being found in a very rural area and fostered on a quiet farm, Winchester has had a quiet home with not many visitors. He is shy to people at first and since not having much socialization, he requires a bit of warming up with treats and sweet talk but mainly delicious treats. Once your treats win him over he is all fun loving and Mr. personality. He loves belly rubs, playing with toys, playing fetch and his people. He is a playful energetic boy that loves to be the center of attention. His breed would require him to have daily walks and exercise and he would love fun adventures and hikes with his loved ones. He and his brother Remington were found wandering in the woods of a rural area until they came upon a home with another dog where they stayed after a good meal and playtime with the dog. After searching for owners, they were never claimed so our rescue took in these 2 brothers. They both love to wrestle and play with one another and with the other pup in the home. Winchester will require socializing to allow him to flourish. He has just never had an experience with any adventures or people outside of the farm and the foster parents but he is a really great dog that just needs some confidence and social skills and I think he will be the talk of the town. He will require leash training but he catches on quickly, basic obedience, crate and house training. He loves to go for car rides as he has his head hanging out of the window to soak in all the wind blowing his ears back and his mouth wide open. He would be great with another social dog in the home to play with and help him meet new friends with ease because lets face it, not everyone carries a bag of jerky treats everywhere they go haha. He hasnt been around cats but he would likely do better in a home without cats due to the prey drive of the breed.
Winchester is a great dog and will make a superb pet for a active family and another dog in the home that doesnt mind putting some work to help this handsome smart boy love life and become a social butterfly so get ready and stock up on treats and lots of love.

Adoption details:
In some instances, a meet and greet is not possible before adoption unless we have a foster home in New England available. Available for a Meeting confirms the dog is in a NE Foster home and available for a meeting in the city state provided. Most times our dogs get adopted before a foster home becomes available - and if so, they go straight to adopters home. Foster parents talk to adopters and feel confident that this will be a match before our dogs are transported up. Also if by some chance it is not a match we have a safety net in place as we ask that adopters to let us know that it is not a match and we direct you to take the dog to a foster home or boarding kennel once that is arranged. If necessary, we will ask you to foster the dog until a foster home can be arranged.

Transport details: Rescue Road Trips (rescueroadtrips.com) or CAFA Transport will deliver our precious pups on commercial rescue animal transport to designated locations. The fee is 225.00 which IS INCLUDED in your adoption fee already.**Rescue Road Trips, was featured on The Today Show - view it at http://www.today.com/video/today/55034556#55034556

If you are a Massachusetts or New Hampshire residence, an additional fee of $125.00 will apply due to State quarantine fee requirements. If the dog is in a foster home in MA or NH, this fee will be added in the adoption fee regardless of where the adopters home is located making the total adoption fee $715.00 for puppies and adults $540.00 for Seniors, otherwise the full adoption fee for all other states is $590.00 for puppies and adults and $415.00 for seniors.
