Courtesy listing: This dog is NOT currently a WCHS resident and is instead posted as a courtesy listing for Hopes Haven (The Benewah County Humane Society) If you are interested in inquiring about adoption, please call them at 208-245-7387. Nevaeh is a 2 year old husky. As with all huskies, she is wicked smart! She walks nicely on a leash and rides great in the car. If you leave the window down, she will try to escape! She loves to explore in the woods, but she does have a huge prey drive and will chase anything small she sees. Because of this she absolutely can not be around small pets, or farm animals. She seems to be good with other dogs, but she prefers calm dogs. She is easily corrected if she does something naughty! Because she is a husky, and they are known runners, she will need a fenced in yard that she cant escape out of. She is currently going through our dog obedience class and is rocking it!! In the class they learn how to sit, lay down, kennel, how to walk on a leash, how to nicely take food from a bowl, and rules, boundaries, and limitations. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment to meet her, please call 208-245-7387. Adoption includes all vaccinations, worming, flea and ear mite treatment, spay/neuter and any medical treatment needed while staying with us, and they also come with a full check up from a veterinarian and microchipped.
