Description:
Aged between one and two, affable Afina is all about loving. The 40-pound white and black beauty adores being the focus of her foster moms attention, cuddling and snuggling with her, hugging her, resting her head on her, and rolling over for belly rubs. As active as she is affectionate, she thrives on long morning walks, enjoys engaging with other energetic dogs her size, and the more exercise she gets, the calmer and happier she is. Especially fond of stuffed animals, rope pulls, and tennis balls (she has yet to play tug or fetch), chewing on rawhides, hooves, and cow bones, shes also exceedingly curious and loves looking out the window or watching the world go by from the front yard. Always eager for her foster moms approval, accepting it with grateful tail wags, and motivated by love, food, and toys, shes highly intelligent, easy to teach despite a slight stubborn streak, and currently knows "come," "sit," "off," and "no." Although shes friendly towards every female she meets, she remains wary of men, and while shes still at work on her doggy manners, shes crate-trained and almost fully leash and house-trained. Afina does need to be in a home with kids who are 13 years or older. With much yet to learn and much love to give, Afina now needs an equally loving home to further her socialization with other dogs and with men, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.
