Description:
Three-year-old Libby puts a capital "L" into LOVING! At 45 pounds, this sweet-natured black beauty is singularly people-focused and most content in the company of her foster mom. Seemingly new to living in a house, she thrives on her foster moms love and attention, loves being cuddled, snuggled, and petted, and having her belly rubbed, responding in kind by touching her nose to her foster moms face and conforming her body to hers. Considering everyone she meets her best friend, shes good with all dogs, likes chewing bones, and loves going for walks, walking wonderfully and respectfully on a leash. Highly food-motivated (shes still trying to regain her lost weight), she loves puzzle toys and Kongs, and especially enjoys bully sticks as treats, accepting them gently. She presently knows "sit," but being bright as a button, is learning more commands daily while she works on her crate and house-training. Still a bit nervous about being left alone, shes at work on her various manners, and now needs a nurturing home to patiently bolster her confidence, perfect her manners, and complete her training, including her commands, in exchange for a lifetime of Libby loving.
