Hi, my name is  Sassie Cocoa,  I am 30 lbs and 6 months old. We think I am Lab , terrier, and dachshund mix with maybe some super mutt thrown in for extra spice!  I should be a medium sized dog and 25 to 40 pounds when grown. My mom is Cocoa and she is 30 lbs and an all black beauty with the most adorable short legs! They think I will be on the short side as well. Those are her pictures for reference.  I am very smart and would love to make you happy. I am good with kids, dogs, and cats. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you.  Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Sassie Cocoa.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Sassie Cocoa the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.  

Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.

All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or theres an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
