Description:
A young blue-eyed pup like Zena is certainly going to turn heads. At a tender age of 10 months old, Zena is looking for the happily ever after with her one and only family. Zena is all about love and affection and she appreciates all the attention she can get. She is a labrador retriever/husky mix weighing around 40 pounds. She will grow a bit more but will remain a medium sized dog (up to 50 pounds) when fully grown. She is a sweet and confident girl that does well with other dogs. She does not do well in maintaining a positive relationship with cats so she would need a home without a feline family member. She has not been introduced to young children since coming into rescue. Zena has a medium energy level, and she enjoys lots of playtime with her humans and/or other dogs. With her intelligence and her eagerness to please, Zena would be well suited for agility training. Her crate and leash training are all works in progress. She will follow the lead of her family in helping her achieve all the steps needed to be a success. However, Zena is a master of her house training, and she is eager to show her family how well she does. Although it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Zena can see her days filled with lots of love and adventure with her family always by her side. She is eager and exited to start the next chapter of her life and find all that she has dreamed of and more. The adoption fee for Zena is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
