Megan – Labrador mix – 1yr. – female (54lbs) This sweet little girl was adopted as a puppy from a shelter up north. Her owners returned her when she was 9 months old; she arrived back at that shelter terrified, sick, and antisocial. SHR took her from that shelter after they had given her the medical treatment she needed. Megan was obviously not given the love and care that all dogs need – thankfully she is now in a place where that will happen. Megan is happy, playful, and acts like a “regular” puppy. She plays well with other dogs and enjoys romping around the play yard. She especially loves splashing around in the baby pool, so we think she’s a bit of a water-dog. She has only had a few accidents in her kennel area, so we believe she’s at least partially housebroken. Megan can be slightly shy, but she becomes comfortable quickly and loves the attention - she almost forces you to pet her. She is very bouncy and goofy and makes our shelter staff giggle every time she does something new. Megan is looking for a home with a person/family committed to love and care for her entire life. She is active and playful and will do well with a family that includes her in their activities. Remember, she is still a puppy and will require patience, love, and training. If our sweet Megan seems like a good fit for your life, please start the process by filling out an application to meet her; this girl is tons of fun! https://form.jotform.com/91891552799173
